Stevie D
Hi, I am running CCleaner 2.30 on a Windows 7 64 bit machine. When I click on the System Restore tool, instead of bringing up a list of my restore points, my system hangs with the spinning circle...not all of the time, but more than half the time. This also happened on 2.29. I tried to unintsall and re-install, but it is still a problem that causes me to have to re-boot after lengthy delays. Alexis
How much space have you allocated for System Restore and how long do you keep them? I have noticed that it takes quite a bit longer to load that particular section when there are more restore points on the list.

I have noticed that it takes quite a bit longer to load that particular section when there are more restore points on the list. I have 9GB maximum allocated and half of it is currently used. I probably have only 2 or 3 points in there.
Alexis
Hm, perhaps is the is amount of data you are keeping and not the number of restore points. I am very confused about this myself, because I have it turned off on my Windows 7 machine with 0 bytes allocated, but CCleaner is still showing 2 Windows Update restore points.
