Recovering files for Ipod nano?

I'm having trouble recovering videos recorded using the ipod. Recuva finds the file i need but when I try to recover, it just hangs at 0 percent. What can i do?

I've experienced the same thing. I tried it on videos that I had recorded on my Ipod but watched on my computer and it recovered them, but it just freezes when it goes to recover ones that were never on my computer. Not only does it hang, but it doesn't allow me to close the window or cancel. I have to open up my task manager and shut it down from there.

Also, I should mention that they supposedly are in excellent condition, but their information doesn't load in the preview screen. Furthermore, after I attempt to look at anything in their preview screens it causes recuva to cease working correctly and whenever I attempt to recover anything else after doing so I will get a "(not responding)" message from Windows. In either case, hanging at 0% or not responding, I end up with no choice but to shut down the program.
