DNS Cache Option

I just downloaded my first update in awhile, and I saw this new option about DNS Cache. I checked it and ran C Cleaner, but the next time I booted up my computer, it stalled and didn't want to load. I had to force off the computer with the button and now it's ok. It's starting normally again. Was it this DNS Cache option that could have done something that made booting up problematic? I noticed it wasn't checked off automatically. Maybe it's more for pro's and I shouldn't have messed with it. Thanks.

In short, no, that couldn't have caused it. It's unticked simply because it doesn't free up any space and simply doesn't need to be run in most circumstances. If it's restarted fine since it sounds like a coincidence. Have you run CCleaner since without a problem? (just to rule out the possibility it was the new version that caused a prob, regardless of the DNS cache option)
