Ishi Posted February 3, 2010 Share Posted February 3, 2010 I think you have to uncheck the "User Assist History" option in CCleaner. Cause if you have that checked, CCleaner will tend to delete all the shortcuts of recently opened programs on the Start Menu besides those that were pinned there on purpose. You can clearly see that on the prompt when you check the "User Assist History" option in the Advanced cleaning category. Having the Menu order cache can reset your custom ordering. I love computer maintenance tasks. Some of my favorite programs: Wordpad -basic word processing Notepad - temporary clipboard and basic scripting module Windows Media Player 12- video, music and online radio player Windows Media Center - live TV, local FM radio CCleaner- handy computer maintenance tool If something fails to work after using the registry cleaner, use SYSTEM RESTORE.
