Additional features for Add/Remove Programs & Startup

I like the fact that you have a way to save a text list of installed programs on a machine. It would be nice

to be able to save a similar list for the startup page. I tend to install CCleaner on customer's machines,

and then show them how to use the Startup screen. It helps for me to print this out and make notes next to the

items they may not recognize, but I know about. (Think the Grinch: "Hate, Hate, ... Hate, Hate, Hate,.... Absolutely Loathe")

 

In the same two screens, it would be great to be able to search through these lists, possibly with a mac spotlight-like

feature (I know this is really reaching, but to be able to not only key off the name, but the metadata for each item, so for example

I could type in 'dell', and it would not only list programs with Dell in their names, but would also list anything else with Dell in its

metadata.)

 

I love the fact that your add/remove programs screen seems to come up quicker than the Windows version. Am I just dreaming?
