drwhite
If this posts twice, accept my apologies. Anywho, I would like to know if there is any way to delete specific files from a specific directory. My problem is that AutoCAD creates .bak files everytime you save a file or exit a drawing session. Over time (week, month.. etc) you can have a lot of space being taken up by these .bak files. They are supposed to be for safety, which I like, such that if change a file, save it, then change your mind, you can go back to the directory rename the file slightly and back to a .dwg extension. I've done this maybe a dozen times in 15 years. Most of the time I use an old DOS command I found years ago call Sweep.com to rid myself of hundreds of .bak files. I want to be able to specify that *.bak files are to be cleaned from my C:\JOBS directory specifically. CAN THIS BE DONE?
