ironfistchamp
Hey I think CCleaner is great and I use it on multiple comupters.... one problem I had is that there are 26 registry keys that wont go away. everytime I scan they come up. Why wont they go away and how can I get rid of them? Any ideas Thanks Ironfistchamp
Tarun
Sometimes you have to reboot before changes to the registry are made.
ironfistchamp
Hmm well this has been going on for weeks now with multiple reboots. One thing I noticed is that when I find the keys in regedit and click them it says error opening key. If I try and delete them I get the same problem. Admin MrG Posted September 18, 2005 Admin Share Posted September 18, 2005 Right-click on the key an select Permissions. Then give yourself full control over the key. Sometimes the permissions get screwed up in the registry. Piriform.com - [CCleaner - Defraggler - Recuva - Speccy]

ironfistchamp
It says Unable to change permissions then Access to key denied. This is crazy. The first key on the list of "unfixable"ones is HKCR .rm
