Question about recovering from ghost image.

I have a question about recovering from a ghost image. For example I use Symantec NORTON Ghost to recover the whole OS and now I need to recover the data that was lost when I re-image the machine. Can this program do this?

So you imaged your drive using Ghost, your main drive became corrupted and you reinstalled using the Ghost image... and you want all the files created between the making of the Ghost image and the reinstallation?

 

In theory I'd say yes if the process didn't write over any sectors of the drive where those new files were stored. The longer you use the drive (of if you defrag) the more chance you have of writing over those deleted files.
