Is it safe to use the Advanced feature "Wipe free space"? does it only effect free space and overwrite files that I am deleting or can it effect files I am not deleting? Whether or not you use it is up to you to decide as it takes some time, it isn't a forensic wipe, and it looses its effect as soon as you start using the pc to view or create files again.
