RecuvaAnonymous Posted June 11, 2009 Share Posted June 11, 2009 I accidentally deleted some .jpg pictures from my Recycle Bin and installed Recuva. Found some images that had green, yellow, and red dots next to them. As I understand, this indicates the health of each file. The problem is, I cannot see even the GREEN files that were restored! Recuva would not show a preview for these files, and when I tried to open in Windows Gallery, it says "Photo Gallery can't open this picture or video. This file format is not supported, or you don't have the latest updates to Photo Gallery." I checked and have made all the updates available. I figured Recuva would have a hard time opening files that were written over, but it cannot get even the files it says are healthy! Anyone got any ideas?
