symiggy
Although I have used CCleaner for many years and on multiple computers, this is the first problem that I have ever encountered with this excellent program. I note that in the new version 2.19.889 there is a new feature, specifically a "System Restore" button in the tools menu to delete restore points that are no longer needed. When I click on the system restore button the resulting screen on the right side is completely blank without any data in it whatsoever whereas there was relevant data in the right hand screen when the "Uninstall " or "Startup" buttons were clicked. Moreover, after I click on the "System Restore" button, CCleaner hangs and stops responding completely. I run Windows Vista Ultimate SP1 fully patched. My computer: AMD Athlon 64X2 Dual Core3800+, 2.0GB RAM, GeCube RADEON X800XL graphics card. I would appreciate ant suggestions or help. Thank you. andrewsg
I'm having a similar problem. System restore screen is blank I've checked via Windows and they are there, I've even manaully created one with Windows and it doesn'y show in CCleaner System Restore screen. Only difference is that it doesn't stop responding when I click on the System restore botton. I'm running Vista Home Premium

andrewsg
... and I've found out that it works for me IF I'm signed in as Administrator. For security reasons I sign in as ordinary user and only user Admin if I need to.
