MarkT Posted March 31, 2009 Share Posted March 31, 2009 For several months now CCleaner seems to get stuck on cleaning index.dat. It stays on that file for 45 - 90 seconds, even though I do not have a check mark in front of cleaning index.dat. I'm now using IE 8.0, but I'm not sure if that is when this started. I tried uninstalling CCleaner and reinstalling the newest version, and even cleaned the registry of any entries containing "ccleaner". But this has had no effect. Any suggestions on how to get CCleaner back to the speed it used to have? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
