snowball14526
I frequently run CCleaner with ERASER to clean up my C: drive. When I run RECUVA to see what has been cleaned off the c: drive I often have several ********d01 files that remain at the C:\?\ level. Do you have any idea what these file are? They can?t seem to be opened or deleted.
Moderators DennisD Posted March 8, 2009 Moderators Share Posted March 8, 2009 They appear to be either connected with WinAmp, or tonline db files, or MicroSim PCBoard NC Drill Data File. Completely new to me, and I've no idea what the 2nd two are. Not being able to delete them usually means some program is still using them or they're locked. http://filext.com/file-extension/D01 Do any of the above suggestions make sense to you? If so, and you don't need them, you could maybe get rid of them with "Unlocker", or delete them in safe mode. But make sure first if you can, that you don't need them. EDIT: Welcome to the forum by the way.
