Stocker360
First, go to Piriform Forum and click Spyware Hell . Now you can see the followings in the Important Topics: Would you like to learn to fight malware ? , Preventing Malware and Safe Computing , Before You Post ! , and Frequently Asked Questions . Then, click and read each of them. Usually if you followed all the steps provided in those guides you will turn out to be fine.
Rorschach112
ever had McAfee on the machine ? By the power of truth, I, while living, have conquered the universe. ~Scratch~
arleetel
@Stocker360 : Sorry didn't realize ! Panicked because some other error "buffer overrun", just thought it might be realted. @Rorschach112 : yep I had only the site Advisor (free) on the computer. To both of you : thanks for replying. In the meantime I downloaded and ran The Comedian : it performed tasks and disappeared I suppose a report is only made when something is found. Did a scan with Mbam and nothing was found. A full scan with KIS did not find anything either.
Rorschach112
Thats related to McAfee If MBAM found nothing then this isn't a malware issue, sounds like some McAfee left overs I wouldn't worry about it By the power of truth, I, while living, have conquered the universe. ~Scratch~
arleetel
Thanks for your reply. Will disable it, don't have the site advisor any more because of the conflict with KIS.
