Hang on AVI files

On my system Defraggler hangs on AVI files when Move large files to the end of the drive option is enabled. First I thought that the file was corrupt but I have erased it and check my HDD and everything was alright. Then he stopped at another AVI file. :( Once it stopped until next day in the morning and it always does like this at AVI files. I never had the chance to complete a defragmentation with that option enabled. :(

I posted some pictures with my settings and HDD info.

Hi MouS3, and welcome to the forum.

There are folk on here who know a lot more than me on the problems encountered with defragging, but if you can't get the problem sorted, I've a suggestion for you, and that is to include the file type "divx" in the allowed file types window.

If these are downloaded avi files as opposed to ones you have made yourself, it's possible they may have the "divx" file type embedded in them somehow. I've come across this phenomena myself recently, but in a different context. Nothing to do with defragging.

Just a suggestion.
