Registry scan find applications files to repair rather than just delete the entries

One of the features which I miss from Norton system works , was that the registry scan would also search for the missing file and provide the option to re-route the the link where possible rather than to simply delete the entries altogether. It meant that the fix was slower and occasionally there were more than one file found providing a choice of paths, but it did repair problems where possible. I find to simply delete a file sometimes causes system instability. Nowadays I have to manually search my system to do this. I understand the majority of stuff found is simply leftover tmp files, and old installation files which are removed after install but this feature. would really give norton a real competitor. Dont get me wrong crap cleaner is a brilliant tool but this feature would really give nortons registry clean-up tool competition.
