wmp64 won't load after CCleaner registry scan

I'm running Vista64. I scanned the registry using CCleaner and told it to go ahead and fix errors. I got a message (I'm sorry, but I didn't pay a lot of attention to it) that said something about entries left over from an install. I confirmed.

 

After the "fix" I was unable to open WMP64 and finally merged the backup which allowed access to wmp64 again. I'm cautious about running the registry scanner again. This is a brand new shiny system and I don't want to put any scratches or dents in it..... yet. (feel like I just bough a new car...lol)

 

Anyone have this issue and if so, how did you get around it?
