runescape.com player Posted January 7, 2009 Share Posted January 7, 2009 There's this 1 certain file that Defraggler can't defrag, no matter how many times I try. Here's the info of the file that is still fragged. Filename---------------Fragments------------Size-------------Path pagefile.sys-----------------2-------------571,392KB----------C:\ Can anyone shed some light on this? Is there anyway I can defrag it manually? I'm not too good with computer files, etc, but i'll try to understand as best I can. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Have a look at PageDefrag as pagefile.sys is a Windows system file and needs a special application to defrag it: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinte...s/bb897426.aspx You only need to run it once unless you change the system RAM.
