towser
I am getting this error message when attempting to remove a program. "Error 1321. The installer has insufficient privileges to modify the file C:/ etc." There are many "solutions" on the web, but all seem to require purchase of another registry cleaner. CCleaner doesn't appear to identify or fix the problem. I am running Vista Home Premium and have accessed full administrator rights to no avail. Any advice gratefully received. towser
Hi. I had already tried this when ploughing through the list of "solutions" which I Googled, without success. However, I tried it again and this time I found that I needed to take ownership of two files. I then attempted to uninstall again. This time it stalled with the message "RegisterOutlookExpressPlugin failed". Having accepted the message, the uninstall continued and the program (Spamfighter) no longer appears under program files. What the message was all about I have no idea. I use Windows Mail on this laptop and it seems to be working fine. Many thanks for your help.
