Defrag Free Space creates fragmentations

Recommended Posts

i always get more/new fragmentations when defragging the C drive with Defrag Free Space (not the allow frag 1)

and on drive D i can often still see alot of gaps on the map after its completed and re-analysed

is this feature still being developed or am i the first person with this issue?

my specs:

Intel DQ35JOE Board

C = SATA Maxtor 6V200E0 [single Partition]

D = SATA Western Digital WD800JD-60LSA0 [single Partition]

XP HOME SP3 [Genuine :P ]

AV = Norman Virus Control

Additional info = Indexing and Compression is disabled on both Partitions
