The Jackster
For the last two Microsoft update reboots, my HP Pavilion notebook has 'lost' it's boot information and loses "C:\Backup" folder. Thank GOD for Recuva! Great tool, does an excellent job......until last night. Recuva cannot find the Backup folder unless I run a deep scan and, yesterday, the deep scan 'hangs' at 12% I also tried running Recuva in Safe Mode to no avail. Here is the log file from my latest attempt. Can someone tell me if there is anything I can do to fix this? Thanks, Jack Recuva_log_1_20_361__26_10_2008_17_17_.zip Recuva_log_1_20_361__26_10_2008_17_17_.zip

When I got up this morning, all my files were available. When doing a deep scan: LET IT RUN! Thanks for a GREAT product!
