jc836
Just installed MS S&T 2008 and it has generated a Registry entry called Automap.map.na that CCleaner is detecting during the Registry scan. If I delete it-it returns whenever I use the program. This is also true for PSE5.0. I have run all of my anti-ware and there is NO evidence of an issue in this regard. If I go in and delete the Registry entries for Automap-the program requires a reinstall. The question for both of these items is what is the best way to stop CCleaner from detecting the entries? Is it possible for the developer to put Automap.map.na on the list of items that should not be detected in the first place. I love and strongly recommend CCleaner to my friends and clients-keep up the great project.
Moderators DennisD Posted August 25, 2008 Moderators Share Posted August 25, 2008 Hi jc, as you already know the path to these reg entries you could put them into CCleaners exclude registry section. Options\Exclude\Add Registry. See this recent post for the method. http://forum.piriform.com/index.php?s=&...st&p=112249 Hope this helps.
jc836
DennisD: Thanks for the suggestion-will give it a try. All should be fine once it is added.
