It began, popped the error message below, continued cleaning after I closed the mssg. No evident downside at my end, but figured to report the message. Error message is -- -- -- -- Microsoft C++ Exception CCleaner v2.00.500 MS Windows XP SP2 Intel Pentium 4 CPU 3.00GHz 1.0GB RAM RADEON X300 Series IT=4 ID=-1 PR= DA= RK= RU=0 CK=0 SK=Desktop Shortcuts -- -- -- -- Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Were your desktop shortcuts deleted once the cleaning process finished? Were you only cleaning "Desktop Shortcuts" or you have more items selected? Are you able to reproduce the problem? If not, you might try to create a broken link on your desktop and run CCleaner again and see if the shortcut gets deleted... Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
