butlerd
I don't know if this qualifies as a program bug or just part of CCleaner's programming, however it appears to delete/get rid of my Adobe Digital Editions program whenever I run registry cleaner. The last time I ran CCleaner, I made it a point to review all entries that appeared to be related to Adobe Digital Editions and (thought) that I had been able to spare them from deletion but after CCleaner finished running, the program was gone again. Does anybody have a workaround for this so that I can run CCleaner without deleting this program? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! bennyboy371
I'll just reply to this topic rather than submitting a new one. I am having the same issue. I recently installed Digital Editions, ran CCleaner, and it disappears. I don't want to have to reinstall a program after any temp file cleaning. I hope this is fixed very soon. erwin_mi
Removal of digital editions is only done if you tick Adobe Flash Player. CCleaner deletes then the file C:\Documents and Settings\Account\Application Data\Macromedia\Flash Player\www.macromedia.com\bin\digitaleditions2x0\digitaleditions2x0.exe, which seems to be the executable of Adobe Digital Editions. Imo it should be better not to remove this...
