ironsnipe
I've never had a problem running CCleaner, i use it on a lot of PC's to help diagnose problems. Well this past time i ran it on my own system, everything worked out perfectly, until i tried to watch a movie. Any .avi's i try to play throw the same errors, no matter if it's played in winamp, wmp, vlc, showtime. I reinstalled VLC, and my codec pack, which includes xvid, dvix, and other codecs, and still getting the same errors. This is also the first time i selected the Advanced checkbox in CCleaner. I did uncheck the menu order because i didnt' want that messed with. After i ran CCleaner i'm now getting problems. VLC dumps this when it tries to open the files --------- access_file error: seeking too far access_file error: seeking too early access_file error: seeking too early ffmpeg error: av_find_stream_info failed ps error: cannot peek main error: no suitable demux module for filename.avi -------------------- I have a feeling CCleaner accidentally deleted a codec that i would need to play these files.
