Having a problem with my CCleaner

Hi!

I have been using various versions of CCleaner for the last six months and I have not had any problems until today. Today I tried to open my CCleaner and the program informed me that it couldn't find a file needed to run CCleaner. I didn't think this a huge problem and just removed CCleaner v1.39 from the computer and went to re-download the program.

I downloaded v1.4 and tried to install it and now am being told that CCleaner can't find the VB6 Runtime files required to install. I followed the prompts to the microsoft website and downloaded the files but am still having the same problem with CCleaner saying that it can't find the files, despite the fact that i have downloaded them.

Does this make sense to anyone out there?

Any tips?
