BryanG
CCleaner does what is says on the tin - except I can't get it to clear the contents of %userprofile%\cookies\index.dat, all other index.dat work fine. I've added the location as both a file and folder to advanced\custom, no joy. Any suggestions. BTW I'm using an old standard, Spider, to examine the contents. JDPower
It probably can't be removed normally. The index.dat that CCleaner cleans has to be removed at startup, its then automatically rebuilt by Windows as an empty index.dat file. So I'm guessing adding it as a custom file simply won't work.
