Attached is a screenshot of Beta; I’ll attach a ss for the other version in a reply (if I’m allowed, as I’m new). The SS were taken withn a minute of each other. Curious why Beta was unable to clean certain Windows files.

The Beta (any Beta of any software) is an unfinished advance version for users to try out - if they want to.

Because it is unfinished then there are still things to be added yet before it gets fully released, and it may well be (usually is) buggy.

If you keep using the beta then you will see things getting added as it progresses towards a finished product.

That’s what a Beta version is about - letting users try what is there up to now and comment on what is an unfinished work-in-progress.
At the same time there is a wide base of users trying it which helps to find any bugs in it so that they can be fixed before the ‘official’ release of the finished version.

So if you have the v7 Beta then it’s best to run it side-by-side with the fully released v6.## and use both.

I’m well aware of what a Beta is. I didn’t see another topic that would show the programmers that there was an issue. I was simply trying to give feedback.

This is an open forum and my comments were made with other users who may be looking for info on the v7 Beta in mind, users who may not be so sure what a Beta is.

There isn’t, as yet, an official feedback thread for the v7 Beta.
There was an unofficial one stated about a month and a half ago, but we knew very little about it at that time so it’s a bit confusing.
For what it’s worth:

7 Beta Feedback

I’ve installed and opened the new 7 Beta version and I’ve got to say I don’t like the UI or the fact that it changed some of my settings from my current version of Premium (v6.37.11523). I haven’t taken the time yet to figure out how to view and configure the settings for app cleaning and don’t know if I’ll bother since I think new versions should be easier to navigate rather than more difficult.

This beta release (#7) is real clean - too clean. I can’t find the settings that I used often: start-up with Windows; clean automatically on schedule; registry cleaner. Where can I find these settings?

We are now getting some information about the v7 Beta from the staff.
