Adobe Flash Player is detected by the following registry keys and files:

    HKCR\CLSID\{D27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000}
    HKCU\Software\Macromedia\FlashPlayer
    HKLM\Software\Macromedia\FlashPlayerPepper
    C:\Windows\System32\Macromed\flash\flashplayer.xpt

You can check if any of them are still present and then delete them. After that Adobe Flash Player should not be displayed anymore (after a restart of CCleaner).

The first thing I'd think is that there is still some trace of Flash Player left somewhere and CCleaner is picking that trace up.
Maybe a file association or something similar?

You could try uinstalling/reinstalling CCleaner itself to see if it still picks Flash Player up on the reinstall.
If it does then you'll know that there is still some trace of Flash Player somewhere on your machine.

Make a note of your settings (or a backup of the 'ini' file) before uninstalling, and note your registered name and key if it's CCleaner Pro. (You'll need to re-register the new install).

IMPORTANT - If you have installed CCleaner in a non-standard location, ie. if it isn't in "C:\Program Files\CCleaner", then don't uninstall it.
If your CCleaner is not installed at that location then uninstalling it may cause problems

I'm trying to uninstall and reinstalling the CCleaner in the C:\Program Files\CCleaner, and the Adobe Flash Player files, folders and registry keys detected are completely deleted. But in the CCleaner, it still show the Adobe Flash Player item in Multimedia in Applications in the Custom Clean. This bug is caused by system (Windows) or any registry keys or any files and the solution for fixing this bug? Thanks.

  2. I have: Windows 10 21H1, CCleaner v5.90.9443 (64-bit)
I have a bug with the Custom Clean of CCleaner. I explain here:
Recently, I installed Adobe Flash Player, Adobe Flash Player Uninstall Tool, and some browser that using Flash Player. I have uninstalled the Adobe Flash Player. But even I deleted every leftovers of Adobe Flash Player, including registry entries and files (even in Windows files), in the Multimedia item in Applications in Custom Clean, it still show the Adobe Flash Player besides the Media Player Classic and Windows Media Player. I posted a image to see the bug.

Even I have restarted the computer to completely remove the Adobe Flash Player, it still show the Adobe Flash Player item in Multimedia in Applications in the Custom Clean. What the reason for this bug and how to fix and remove the Adobe Flash Player item in Multimedia in Applications in the Custom Clean? Thanks.

  3. I have the: Windows 10 Pro 21H2 64-bit, Chrome 96.0.4664.110, CocCoc 101.0.84, and the CCleaner v5.88

I run a cleaner, that's clear only Chrome browser data, but not clear CocCoc. I will explain here:

Start cleaning of CCleaner, that clear browser history in Chrome, but not clear history in CocCoc. When I open, the Chrome has no browser history, but CocCoc still found the browser history list. To clean the CocCoc browser (not fully), I must use the CCEnhancer.

Does CCleaner must get a new version to completely clean CocCoc browser data, including browser history without using CCEnhancer?

    Thanks.

-Batch and Multi Program Uninstall Support

-Create a Restore Point before uninstalling (You can turn on or off this feature)

-Install Monitor: Monitor installation for files, folders and registry changes when installing a program

  5. The Software Updater feature in CCleaner need check all software installed on your PC, then using the improved database to update outdated software, including Google Chrome, Foxit Reader, Microsoft .NET Framework and more.

Also, you can restore it if any unwanted changes are made by Software Updater.
