no thoughts / suggestions to fix these issues? any way to reverse whatever I did?

well, clearing cache and data fixed Samsung text app from crashing...but Google Play / Play gaming still crash and I cleared data and cache for them too.

I installed CCleaner and ran it and now have a number of app crashing issues. I have a Samsung Galaxy A5 2017 with Android 8.0. my text messenger crashes as soon as I try to open any contact whether I access it via the app or via my contact list. Google Play crashes, Play Gaming crashes, my cellular provider Fido app crashes. my browser seems to work without issue though, but that's little comfort. HALP!
