  1. I would not download any drivers unless they are from the manufacturer's site and I don't let Windows Update install drivers either.

    This is blatent spam :o

I have updated a lot of drivers, and encountered different issues, and this, I think is the best advice :)

  2. First of all, I am not making an arguments. Secondly, I was just trying to give a simple answer that I think is understandable for someone who never used FF before . Yes, IE8 "beta" has some new optimizations, but remember FF3 RC is still under development. As for IE7 having protected mode on Vista and FF doesn't, while this statement might be true for some that running Windows Vista, but not for those running Windows XP.

  3. When it comes to Linux some people seemed to have problems with their drivers the most. I like Humpty's way, and you can always fix your bootloader if it get corrupted. To answer Stefan Markic's question, I agreed because I use windows as my primary OS even though I have some linux distros installed :).

  4. Universal boot sequence? I don't know about that but it definitely help if you put the HD first because it helps load faster a bit. Most PC now has specific key if you need to boot from CD so you can put that one at the bottom :).

  5. About the colors,I just thought to keep it simple. A lot of changes will be make today. Off Course, Posts will add later but I still need help to make it better. Thanks all for your inputs.

  6. Hello everyone, this is my Forum. I would like some Feedbacks/Comments about it( The logo Image will be up soon, I hope-if someone will do one for me). How do you guys think i can get more members into my Forum ? Also, I need staff members. So just PM if you would like to become one on my site.

    Thanks-)

  7. Here are the steps I would do

It maybe too obvious but check to see if you have enough memory and hd space, with a 64 ram it will drastically decrease your performance. If you do have enough ram then check for leakage. If your hd goes half way already then it may slowing you down quite a bit.

Disable all your programs at start up,start- run -type msconfig then start up and uncheck all the boxes, especially your anti virus. It could not possibly be a virus. Also, disable your system restore and hypernation.

You might need to try to update your drivers and since xp sp2 released 3 years ago, you might also want to run a quick update over microsoft website.

    Hope it helps, cheers

  8. Chances are they will say "no'. Worst part is I have no idea which house

Another ting to keep in mind is some ISP have down load limits. If you exceed it they charge you a fee. My aunt set up a wireless router and did not secure it. She received a huge bill form the ISP because the download limits were reached and exceeded big time. Some body had been on here signal downloading things and she ended up paying for it.

Nah, company such as bellsouth, comcast, verizon, ect...won't do that.

Honestly,I don't think I will use it though, Hopefully.

  9. Obviously there are couples of wireless access point in my area. One, however, unsecured, I know it wouldn't not hurt to use it but i am wondering if you could get into trouble for it. Is there law say that it is illegal? if not, then wouldn't that be consider stealing?
