Found the solution: if all the check boxes in Options->Smart Cleaning are unchecked CCleaner is removed from memory.

It seems that the docs ara out of sync with CCleaner. It looks to me, that the Options->Smart Cleaning is taking care if system monitoring mentioned in the docs.

CCleaner 5.72 starts when computer start, disregarding that the Options->Settings-> Run CCleaner when computer starts is unchecked! I have a PC running with minimal RAM, so I really don't need anything running in the background when I am not actually using it. Any ideas how to solve it?
