Canceling didn’t do anything so i had to stop the process in task mananger. Should i runnit again?

Hi there! its been more than a day now i have started a deep scan on my laptop. Recuva went through step 1 and step 2 and now at step 3 it is stuck at 99% for hours now and is showing 2 seconds remaining with 2 files remaining. It is so annoying after waiting alot. Plz help
