I have NO IDEA if this can help anyone in determining the cause of CCleaner crashing (disappearing) when you click on "Run Cleaner".

I reverted back to CCleaner v5.41.6446 (64bit) and it now works just fine. CCleaner v5.42.6495 and all newer versions, crashes on my machine. Go Figure ???? -

I am running Windows 10 Pro with the most current "April 2018 update". I am running an Intel Core i7 CPU 960 @3.20 GHz, 24 GB of RAM, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460 When I downloaded , installed and ran CCleaner v5.43.6522 (64bit), the program came up, I then clicked on "Analyze", it works just fine. But when I then click on "Run Cleaner" the program just disappears. I have uninstalled and installed many times with NO CHANGE ! Any help on this matter will be GREATLY APPRECIATED !!!
