How do i pause Recuva when I am scanning a large hard drive .

Hi ,thanks for info. I am scanning my external hard drive ,as I accidentally erased it .So I will just have to wait for the scanning to complete,in about 15 more hours. -
I would like to pause recuva from scanning ,reboot my computer, then resume from original spot . The scan says 12 hours to go.How do I do this
