The registry backup file (.reg) before fixing things with Reg. Cleaner is only about 20K. The actual W10 registry is about 500MB. Clearly CCleaner's Registry backup is NOT backing up the full W10 registry. What is it backing up? Only the changes being made by Registry Cleaner? Does the RESTORE re-insert only the fixes RC made? Thanks.

My ALL OK post is not showing up in this thread. The only difference is that Windows 10 installed a new update today. Maybe that is what made CCleaner to start working.

Will not complete means: CCleaner just sits there for minutes not doing anything. No activity. The screen remains unchanged, forever. Task Manager shows: CPU useage on CCleaner is 0 (zera), no disk activity. I have to END TASK to stop CCleaner. When trying to uninstall CCleaner, that action never completes. Running uninstall.exe several times, it finally removes itself and deletes its directory. I have reinstalled twice with no Change. You should put version 4 back on your website for downloading...

Latest Version 5.25 (64bit) has major issues on Windows 10. Will not complete uninstall, and will not complete Registry Clean. Also Empty Trash Bin Context is gone.
