  1. If I was cleaning an older computer with lots of preinstalled programs on it, then I wouldn't be this paranoid. However, this is a new computer with a fresh install of a relatively faster OS with no additional programs on it other than CCleaner. Had it been 2-3x slower, then it's not really a big deal. But this is well over 10x slower and it goes beyond CCleaner's advertised "less than 1 second to run", which has gotten me pretty worried.
  2. CCleaner used to be lightning fast for me, taking about roughly .072sec to clean (This was on all of my computers, Windows XP and Vista). However, I recently got a new laptop and did a fresh install of Windows 7. Now whenever I run CCleaner, it takes over 1 second to clean. I'm using a faster computer with a faster OS, yet all of a sudden it takes over 10x as long to clean my computer. Is this normal? I would like to know what the average time is for CCleaner to run.

    Speed Issue

    Errr...ms = milliseconds, not minutes...

    Speed Issue

    For some reason, the more I use ccleaner, the slower the speed gets each time I clean it. I just reformatted my computer so there's barely anything on it. Spyware/Virus scans pick up nothing, and there's hasn't been any strange new files created over the past week. My computer doesn't feel any slower and there aren't strange applications running in the background either. But during the first few times I used it, the average process took about 62ms. After a while, this number jumped to 75ms and then now it's at 82ms. I know it's not a huge difference, but does this mean that something that I am unaware of is making my computer slower, or is ccleaner's timing inaccurate? The speed can differ by about ~5ms just by me clearing out my temporary internet files manually after cleaning. And then it'll jump back up ~5ms when I open a folder or two. I always make sure that no applications are running when I'm cleaning with cleaner...but I find it odd how the timing is inconsistent.
