ccleaner removing Office 2016 pinned document lists

I am using Windows 7 and CCleaner Pro. I have the Office 2016 application box unchecked. I used the Free version for almost a year with ZERO problems. Now that I have purchased and installed the Pro version, my pinned documents (in Excel 2016) are constantly getting cleared. My recent documents aren't touched - they are always there. It's only the pinned documents that go missing. Is there a solution to this bug? Thanks
