  1. I'm trying to recover from a hard disk that has not been overwritten (at least, not by me) and Recuva can't detect the folder structure of any of the deleted files. Is this normal, or is there something I can do to fix it (if it even is a bug)?
  2. Bump for visibility. Would love to have this issue fixed.
  3. Update: I managed to get the deep scan to work by forcing my monitor to stay on at all times. But now the recovery has been going for 2 days straight with no progress at all and the Recuva window is not responding. The disk I'm recovering from doesn't show any activity, either. Any help?
  4. Note: Yes, I have looked this issue up. However, none of the topics found have given me any working solutions. I'm trying to recover a 1TB drive on a 2GB RAM Windows XP PC. My paging file is set to 4096MB. When I run a deep scan, Recuva always stops at around 4% claiming that the drive couldn't be scanned due to lack of available memory- but I have never seen memory usage go above 200MB, and CPU usage over 20%. I run a minimal amount of processes while Recuva is scanning. Is it a bug and if it is, how do I fix it? Is it an issue with the PC itself?
  5. I recently recovered around 2,000 files' worth of data from a huge folder containing many subfolders, but I have a little problem- the files aren't in their original folders. Because said files were files of CD audio, it's nearly impossible to distinguish between which is which without the enclosing folders. Is there any way that Recuva can recover files while also recovering the folders they were in?
