  1. I got a message that a new version was ready and clicked on the update now. As it was updating, I got a message that 'ERROR OPENING FILE'. I aborted the download. I've tried 6 times now to download the new CCleaner and can not do it. I've tried every way I know and nothing. I ended up deleting my prior version of CCleaner thinking I would try and do a clean download but now I have nothing. I've attached a screen shot of the message I keep getting. I did click on the 'retry' and got nothing. Then I clicked on the 'Ignore' and it finished downloading but I lost the CCleaner icon on my desktop and when I clicked on it it told me I didn't have admin authorization to open the file. So here I am with no CCleaner after about an hours worth of frustration and work just because of an update. I would appreciate any guidance you can give me so I have my CCleaner back up and running again. Thank you for your time and consideration in this matter. Have a good day. Mira Newman
  2. My ccleaner worked just great last night. This morning I booted up my laptop and my ccleaner would not open. I removed, reinstalled it and still nothing. If I use my Anti-virus, I can open it there and run it, but not from the shortcut icon. I get some error message that something could not be installed. I didn't take a screen shot when that happened but if I get that message again I definitely will add it to this post.
