Thanks for your reply. I have Avast Antivirus Free Edition and Windows Firewall. I have just uninstalled CCleaner and reinstalled using your link. Settings as default. The program now gets as far as opening but then crashes. Previously it didn't open before causing crash. I have not tried running in safe mode but will if you suggest so. I do not have Winapp2.ini or any 3rd party cleaner. Await your response.

I am running an Acer Aspire Laptop with Windows XP SP3. Just a few days ago I downloaded from your own site but each time I try to run the software the machine crashes both in normal and safe mode. Your help would be appreciated.
