Thanks for that, Andavari, never clicked on applications before, but it has done the trick, much obliged.

I have used Ccleaner for along time but have recently come across a problem. I use Excel a lot nut every time I use it to clean I lose the Recent files from Excel. I would like to know which Tick to remove to stop this happening. Lawrie.
