  1. Would like to report that I just received a removal tool from SPAMfighter (the SLOW-PCfighter company) and it worked. If it wasn't for CCleaner I would not have know that I was still infected with traces of this malware. CCleaner will continue to be one of my favorite tools.
  2. Thank you but all of this information is readily available on the web. I have downloaded ADW Cleaner 5 or 6 times, have used the Junkware Removal Tool and Hitman Pro once each, have used SLOW-PCfighter uninstall guides, have contacted the creators of this malware, and have used MBAM for 6 years. I have cleaned my registry of every trace of this malware and the only place it seems to exist now is within CCleaner, which is why I came here. I think that CCleaner is the best, safest cleaner out there, and I have tried many cleaners. However, I may have to uninstall this program so I do not have to view the SLOW-PCfighter entry.
  3. Running version 5.02.5101 (64-bit) on W7. Uninstalled SLOW-PCfighter using ADD/REMOVE PROGRAMS and the program is no longer listed. However, CC will not remove it from the programs list. Message reads, "Error applying transforms..." Delete will not work either. Message "Can't delete MSI installer." Have been through the registry at least a dozen times and cannot find any trace of this program. Also reinstalled CCleaner and the program is still listed. Any suggestions?
