Hi there, my hard drive is making all sorts of clicking noises and isn't being recognized by Recuva. Anyone have any ideas on what I can do? I read I might be able to take the disk out and switch it into a similiar HDD shell, but I don't know if that's a good idea or not... Thoughts?

Hi there... Tried to use Recuva on my Samsung 850 Pro solid state drive. I have a hfs+ partition on it I used for my Mac. See I have a folder on there that I need, but I partitioned the drive because I was having troubles. I totally forgot about the folder until after the fact. It isn't even showing up in Recuva though. I'm trying TestDisk right now, but I really like Recuva... Anyone know why it isn't showing?
