Mike, If you're using Windows, how did you get rid of the recycle bin icon? As you see in my screenshot a couple of posts up, I don't use icons either. But the recycle bin icon is hidden behind one of the Yahoo Widgets. I'm using Windows XP Pro, SP 2.
