I ran CCleaner on my laptop and ever since then, it's stopped booting. When I start the computer, it takes me to Startup Repair, which is unable to fix the problem for me.
The make is Acer 5820T. The OS is Windows 7. I can't see my BSOD, even when I press F8 and then choose the "disable system restart" option (as advised in this thread http://forum.piriform.com/index.php?showtopic=41625&hl=registry). It just takes me straight to another Startup Repair. I've been using Windows Security Essentials.
When I tried using System Restore, it just says that no restore points have been created on the computer's system drive.
I used sfc \scannow too, and I've attached a picture of what came up then.
At the end of my tether here, and I'd appreciate from the bottom of my heart a solution that doesn't involve a wipe. Help please!

I'm having the exact same problem (down to using CCleaner after reading that must-haves article. I ran start-up repair a good number of times, to no avail. Also tried chkdisk, scannow, everything I could think of. Please help, guys! Any way to fix this at all?

Thanks for all the help, guys. It doesn't boot in safe mode, and the f8 option's not working either. I guess it's gonna be a reload after all.
