I got stung by freeware with Scorpion Saver Services and Scorpion Saver listed under Control Panel/Programs in Win 8-64. My bad. Malwarebytes gets rid of the offending files/registry entries and restores normal computer function. However these program names remain listed and can not be uninstalled (unable to locate the msi file because presumably Malwarebytes deleted it) by Windows or CCleaner. CCleaner also cannot delete the name with a warning box saying "cannot delete the MSI installer." So is this beyond the capability of CCleaner: in truth over the years my experience with this program is that it has very limited effectiveness.
