I am running Windows 7, latest service packs according to my computer and registry setting, yet when I try to install CCleaner, it tells me that I need to upgrade my operating system to XP or higher. What is CCleaner looking at when it makes this determination? How can I change it? Thanks.

Further info that may help. Portable version of CCleaner runs OK. However, portable version of Defraggler gives me the same error message.

Windows Help reports Windows 7 Home Premium, Service Pack 1. No compatibility mode. Please note that CCleaner versions below 4 installed and ran just fine, so I would assume that something changed in the installer. Is there a registry key I should look at?

When I try to install CCleaner, I get an error message saying I need a higher version of Windows. I have Windows 7 Home Premium SP1. I have to use the portable version.
