  1. Thanks for the heads up. I would have not looked at the applications section for Office 2010. I only recently installed it and would not have expected it to be 'special' in regards to CCleaner.
  2. Thanks. I never saw the Office 2010 in applications. Because I only recently installed Office 2010, I never thought CCleaner would do anything different. Thanks for pointing it out. That will fix the problem.
  3. I have used the CCleaner for a long time and it has always worked well for me. I have been using LibreOffice for some time, just to type letters, etc., and there has not been a problem. Recently, I have had to install Microsoft Office 10, to get MSFT Word. I was having a lot of file formatting problems between another user with Word, and the conversion of .doc files. Anyway, I have been trying the new Word and it has been ok. Recently, however, I ran CCleaner (latest version) and, I almost had a heart attack.....my recently saved Word files were GONE. These were very important and represented LOTS of hours. I have done a system restore to a previous date and the file list is back (thank you). What setting can I change in CCleaner, so that this does not happen again?
