  1. I did update. Looking in the Task Scheduler history, it was six days later when it looks like it's running correctly now. It's run the last three days now. Will check the history again in a few days.
  2. Hi. I'm running Vista Enterprise with SP 2. Defraggler v2.10. After running Defraggler manually a few times, I had it set up a daily 2:00 AM task. The last time I manually ran, I needed to stop it around 64% done. The graphic display showed quite a bit of fragmentation left. This morning, the Task Scheduler started DF. It looks like DF ran for 21 seconds then stopped. The graphic display still shows a lot of fragmentation. What did DF do, and why did it stop? I have cut and pasted all the task history events from this morning. 2:00:00 AM 2:00:21 AM And that's it.
  3. As discussed elsewhere (32097), you can set Defraggler (v2.10) to move large files to the end of the drive. But the job created by the Schedule option moves them all back. Anyone know how to make the scheduled job honor large file placement? Real syntax would help. Assume I've already found the Defraggler Windows task and am ready and able to edit it. I am guessing I need to put the "/large" option somewhere. Have not yet found a valid combination/placement that doesn't make the scheduled job error out when it tries to run.
